Americanism - Karen Meredith

Our primary goal is to foster respect for the Flag of the United States of America. With participation by clubs and Federation members, we can reach this goal.
​

Armed Services - 

There are many ways you can support the military in your community.  You can contact the American Legion, Fisher House, Holiday Mail for Hero's, Operation Home Front, Wounded Warrior Project as well as so many more to find out about their specific needs.
​

Awards - Shirley Schreiber

Please submit your Awards form by June 1st Deadline of odd-numbered years (2015, 2017, 2019, etc), There are many ways to earn points for Awards: Teaching Mothering Skills, New Citizen Classes, making blankets and hats for newborns, the homeless, and participating in Arbor Day Events.

Budget - Wanda Grone

The Treasurer prepares the draft of the annual budget.  The following year's budget is adopted by the WFRW's Board of Directors at their annual Fall Meeting.

Campaign - Colleen Morse

Keep track of your campaign volunteer hours and submit them to your Campaign chair.

Caring for America - Sharon Krey

There are many ways to serve your local community: volunteering at local food banks, donating goods to women's shelters.

Club Development - Gail Pappacostas

The WFRW Second Vice President is available to help clubs learn to recruit and retain members:​
•Provide interesting and informative programs that provide members with an opportunity for political and personal growth
•Provide members with worthwhile, organized, and interesting meetings which encourages them to become more involved
•Be certain that the Club provides an environment of comfort and friendliness to all who attend and are a part of the Club
•Treat  your members and guests with respect.

Finance - Georgene Faries

The Third Vice President of the WFRW is responsible for coordinating general fund raising activities to meet the budget and expected expenditures of the WFRW.

Legislative - 

Legislation issues include Budgets, Toxic Exposure, Human Trafficking, Common Core Standards, and more.
​

Successful clubs have great programs that inform and educate its members.

Public Relations - Carolyn Williams

Good Public Relations and Communications are the result when members and clubs share information about important upcoming events and programs in a timely manner.
​

Resolutions - Mary Jane Olson 

Any Club, the Board of Directors, and any Standing Committee may present resolutions. All resolutions shall be germane to the work of the Federation and shall be sent to the Resolutions Committee Chairman, Mary Jane Olson (czarina@whidbey.com) not later than 14 days prior to the board meeting. Please refer to WFRW Standing Rules for more information  about submitting resolutions.

Social Media - Ashley Butenschoen

If you have WFRW, NFRW or club-related news that would be appropriate for Facebook or Twitter, please notify our Social Media Chair.

Webmaster - Patsy Excell

For additional visibility for your club's activities and programs, please add Patsy to your distribution list of club updates, photos and bios. If you need help setting up a easy, cut & paste website, Patsy can offer suggestions and advice.
​

 Winners' Circle - Roxanne Husmann

WFRW members, associate members and friends who contribute $500, $250 or $100 or more to WFRW per year are eligible for membership in our exclusive Winners' Circle! All funds received through the Winners' Circle program are used to enhance the general membership of WFRW.

Audit 2018 - 

The Audit Committee reviews each year's financial records before the start of the new fiscal year on January 1.  They report to the WFRW Board of Directors at their annual spring meeting.​

WFRW Day at the Capitol - Thurston County Women's Republican Club

The WFRW's annual Day at the Capitol is held in February during the legislative session.  The TCWRC coordinates inviting all the Republican legislators, etc. and the ordering of the lunches. Please, join us and wear your Red jackets, scarves, sweaters and heels.
