President: Judy Needles
  Judy has been interested in politics since high school and has volunteered on many campaigns.

In 1999, Judy attended the NFRW Convention in Seattle even though she was not a delegate. That experience inspired her to contact former members and reactivate the Walla Walla County Republican Women’s Club. She served as President for 4 years.

Judy began regularly attending WFRW meetings and became a District Director for the Eastern part of the state. She was subsequently elected as WFRW's 3rd Vice President in charge of Fund Raising and then elected 1st Vice President in charge of programs for 2005-06. In November of 2006 she was elected as President of the Washington Federation of Republican Women for a two-year term beginning January 1, 2007.

At home in Walla Walla she is involved with the local Walla Walla Community College Rodeo that raises money to help prevent child abuse in her area. She continues to be active in local politics.

As President of the WFRW, Judy's focus is rebuilding membership. She is known for her diplomacy and enthusiasm. Under her leadership, WFRW is definitely the state federation to watch and emulate!

 
1st Vice President and Program Director: Eileen Sobjack
  Since 1988, Eileen has served in all levels of Whatcom County GOP leadership: PCO, vice-chair, state committeewoman, executive board member, and chair of many committees.

Instrumental in supporting the reorganized chapter of the Republican Women of Whatcom County, she was elected president in 2000-2002. She was a delegate to the 2001, 2003 and 2005 NFRW conventions. She has served as a District Director for WFRW, 2nd VP, and is currently elected 1st VP and director of Programs.

Beginning in 1988, she volunteered each election season in local, state and national campaigns, most recently as county co-chair for Mike McGavick for US Senate, until July 2006, when she worked as the Regional Director for Doug Roulstone for Congress. She is a trustee in her church, teaches Sunday school and volunteers her media experience. A former public school teacher, she gave up fulltime employment to home-school her three children, now grown and avid Republicans. To sum it up, once, when someone asked, “What does your mother do?" Eileen’s child responded, “My Mom is a Republican.”

 
2nd Vice President, District Director Coordinator and
Club Development Chair: Mary Jane Aurdal
  Mary Jane is a retired small business owner with a 40-year history of Republican volunteerism. She and her late husband, Frank, operated a printing company in Lynnwood, WA where they became popular serving the printed needs of Republican campaigns. Mary Jane volunteered on many campaigns designing logos, writing brochures, and working as campaign staff.

She joined the Evergreen RWC in 1996; in 1997, she became editor of "Washington Republican Woman", official newsletter of WFRW, serving until 2006. In between, Mary Jane designed and published the first WFRW web site for which they received the PR Award from NFRW in 1999. Mary Jane was elected WFRW Membership Secretary in 2003, again in 2004 and served until 2006 when she was elected WFRW's 2nd Vice-President. Currently, she is a member of the South Whidbey Republican Women's Club.

Aurdal resides in Clinton on Whidbey Island and is active in the Island County Republican Party. She is serving her 3rd 2-year term as ICRP State Committeewoman, is a PCO, and manages the ICRP information booth at the Island County Fair in Langley.

During the 2004 Bush-Cheney campaign, Mary Jane was appointed 2nd Congressional District Chair for the campaign and traveled to all five counties in the 2nd CD helping organize volunteers, campaign programs, delivering materials and signs. She was elected as a Washington State delegate to the RNC Convention in New York.

Mary Jane has 10 grandchildren nearby who live in young Republican homes with their parents!

 
WFRW 3rd Vice President and Finance Chair:  Patti Winfrey
  Patti Winfrey is a native of Port Arthur, Texas, on the Gulf Coast. She graduated with honors from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with a degree in Speech and History. At LU, she was an active member of the Lamar Theatre Company, the Modern Dance Company, and Delta Zeta Sorority as well as several honor societies. She and her husband have resided in Tacoma for the past 31 years and raised two wonderful sons while running family businesses.

She credits her father for instilling her interest in politics which still intrigues her today. Patti has served the Pierce County Republican Party as Convention Credentials and Platform Chair. She has also been a part of the WSRP Credentials and Platform committees, chair of the Legislative District Committee, and delegate to many County and State Conventions.

As a member of the Gig Harbor Republican Women, Patti has chaired several committees, served as VP in charge of membership and President. Since 2000 she has worked on numerous campaign and event committees, focusing on fundraising. Currently she is a PCO and a member of the Board of the 28th District Club.

 
Recording Secretary: Juliana McMahan
  Juliana McMahan has been active in Republican politics for most of her life. In addition to serving on the board of WFRW, she also serves on the boards for Kitsap County Republican Party, Washington Young Republican Federation, and Kitsap County Young Republicans.

Juliana works full-time for the Evergreen Freedom Foundation, a non-profit organization that seeks to advance individual liberty, free enterprise and limited, accountable government in Washington state.

 
Membership Secretary: Kristi Brown
  Kristi Brown is the current WFRW membership secretary. In previous years Kristi held the positions of WFRW PR Committee Chair, president of the Republican Women of Seattle, and volunteer coordinator for the Luke Esser for Senate re-election campaign in the 48th Legislative District.

Kristi is currently a PCO for the 34th District, has been involved in community policing, and grant research for a children's non-profit organization.

 
Treasurer: Patsy Excell
  During the Spring meeting of the WFRW Board of Directors, Patsy Excell was elected Treasurer to complete the remainder of the term of office through year-end 2008.

Patsy brings many years of accounting experience to the position, including over a decade as a manager in the Corporate Accounting Department of Seafirst Bank. Additionally, Patsy has been Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer of many political campaigns at the local and state-wide level in the last thirty years, including John Spellman for Governor, Joel Pritchard for Lt. Governor, and Sam Reed for Secretary of State. She recently completed a five-year term as Treasurer of the Thurston County Mainstream Republicans and is the current Treasurer of the Thurston County Women’s Republican Club.

Having met her husband at a political event while both were in college, Patsy has been married to Steven for almost forty years.

 
Eastern District Director: Frankie DeWitt
  Frankie DeWitt has a 26-year history as a Republican volunteer in Washington state. She has served as the Yakima County GOP chair, their State Committeewoman, 4th Congressional Executive Board member in the WSRP and served as WSRP Vice-Chair from 1991-1992. She has also been Yakima Republican Woman's Club president, WFRW's 3rd Vice-President (Finance) and 1st Vice-President of Ponderosa RWC in Spokane.

In addition, Frankie was 4th Congressional District Chair for the Bush 2000 campaign; she was an organizer of the 4th Congressional District Club, and Co-Chair of the 5th Congressional District Bush campaign in 2004. With all this varied experience that crosses Congressional Districts, County lines, and genders, is it any wonder why she was asked to serve on an Advisory Committee for Senator Slade Gorton and Representative Cathy McMorris-Rodgers?

Frankie describes herself as, "A lucky grandmother of seven!

 
North Central District Director: Lynda Pheasant
   

Raised with traditional Republican values, Lynda Pheasant chose to make Washington State her home. This loyal WSU Cougar earned a B.S. degree in Psychology, with additional studies in Recreation Administration and Adult Education providing strong foundation for her extensive community leadership.

Lynda is a Precinct Committee Officer, and has championed multiple successful elections for three County Commissioners and a new Sheriff – all Republicans! Four times she has served appointments on regional transportation advisory committees, and is “Chief Expeditor” for her neighborhood’s organization. Active with Chelan-Douglas RW, Lynda is a two term past-President, current NC District Director, and recognized for her contributions to the WFRW Newsletter.

As orchardists, Lynda and husband Jack are among the most productive minority in America, possessing a strong commitment to agriculture and the tree-fruit industry. Their three children are involved in diverse facets of international business. Lynda is a proud “Military Mom” and devoted troop supporter.


 
Peninsula District Director: Kris Danielson
  Kris Danielson was born and raised in Washington State. Kris’s greatest joy is being a mother and volunteering at her daughter's school. Kris is very active in Republican politics and involved in her community.

Kris has been vice president of the South Kitsap Republican Women, a PCO, has volunteered on many Republican campaigns, was elected to serve on the 26th Legislative District Committee, appointed to Instructional Materials Committee for the South Kitsap School Board, a board member for Kitsap Alliance of Property Owners and is currently serving on the Human Rights Council. She also works with her attorney husband, Bruce Danielson, at his law office as a paralegal and office administrator.

 
South Puget Sound District Director: Daniela "Dani" Anderson
  Dani Anderson is described by her peers as a "modern woman with a full and busy life." She is a wife, mother, small-business owner and very active in Republican politics both in her County GOP and the WFRW. She is President of Thurston County Women's Republican Club and has served in many other offices in the club. In recognition of her many hours of work for Republican causes, Dani was named Republican of the Year for 2005 by the Thurston County Republican Party. Her company, Hometown Property Management, was recently named Small Business of the Year by the Lacey/Thurston County Chamber of Commerce.

Like most Republican women, Dani balances her personal family life with her professional and political activities. She is also described as "a wise woman who understands the importance of being an active Republican." She organizes the Thurston County Republican Lincoln Day Dinner and Auction, works diligently on the WSRP's Elephant Hunt and is a PCO. Like a good Republican mother, Dani encourages her daughters to work with her as volunteers.

 
Southwest District Director: Nancy De Leo
  Nancy is a wife and mother happily married for 25 years; software developer, entrepreneur, veteran scout leader, community leader, organizer, and is known as a person who can get things done.  In the community, De Leo served 14 years as a Boy Scout leader and as Committee Chairman, Treasurer, and Events Coordinator. De Leo and her husband Gary, an Electronics Engineer, have a grown son.

A dedicated servant to her church and throughout the local area, Nancy served many years as a deaconess and Sunday School teacher and was recently appointed to the Clark County Substance Abuse Advisory Board.

She also serves the community by being active local politics, currently serving as 2nd Vice President of the Clark County Republican Women, and Southwest District Director for the Washington Federation of Republican Women. She is a member of the Clark County Republican Party.

Nancy has a background of providing software development services for companies in the Portland-Vancouver area. She has 25 years experience in the software industry with experience highlighted by work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, General Dynamics, NASA, and Columbia Ultimate. As a software development contractor and entrepreneur, she understands the demands of a small business, including staying within a budget, accounting, accountability to her customers, and public relations.
De Leo earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rollins College of Florida.
