President: Eileen Sobjack
|
 |
|
Eileen’s journey into politics started when she was a young mother and a partner in her husband’s fishing business. She saw firsthand the burden of too much government control on families and small business. Eileen became dedicated to assuring the liberty and freedoms we enjoy are available for the next generation. This led to her involvement initially as a volunteer lobbyist and activist for business and family issues; and before long she became involved in Republican politics.
Since 1988, Eileen volunteered each election season in local, state and national campaigns, most recently as county
co-chair for Rob McKenna for Governor 2012.
Eileen has served in all levels of Whatcom County GOP leadership: PCO, vice-chair, state committeewoman, executive board member, and chair of many committees. For her efforts, she was named 2006 Republican of the
Year.
Instrumental in supporting the reorganized chapter of the Republican Women of Whatcom County, she was elected president in 2000-2002. She was a delegate to the 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007,
2009, and 2011 NFRW conventions. She has served as legislative chair for WFRW, District Director, 2nd VP, Public Relations chair and as 1st VP and Director of Programs before being elected President for 2009-2010. Eileen served as state president 2009-2010 and was re-elected for the 2011-2012 term.
Eileen serves on the NFRW Board of Directors and as a member of the
Campaign Committee. She was recently elected to serve as a
Member-At-Large on the NFRW Executive Committee.
She is active in her church, belongs to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and is an educational consultant
and campaign. Married to Don for over 34 years they raised three active, responsible citizens who are also Republicans.
They
have three granddaughters and three grandsons. Their middle son is a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Peninsula District Director: Brenda Petrick
|
|
|
|
I was born in Waynesburg, PA and moved to Cleveland, OH in 1963. After graduating from business college,
I worked for Eaton Corp for 33 years. There I was the International Customer Service person and handled the mining accounts for
domestic as well as international customers. I graduated from Heritage Baptist Institute in 1983.
I feel so far behind all the other ladies as I did not get involved in politics until I retired and moved to WA in 2002. I had always had a desire to become involved and had worked on two campaigns for persons running for the OH State Legislature. I saw the Kitsap Republican Booth at the fair and signed up to be a volunteer.
Since then, I have been a PCO, Kitsap County Republican Board Member, served as the Vice-Chair for KCRP for 4 years working on various campaigns, manning the campaign office for KCRP and helping with many events. I have been a member of North Kitsap RW since 2002 and am currently their President. I also am an associate member of South Kitsap RW and Gig Harbor RW.
I have been married to my husband, Michael, for 42 years. We have one son, Mike. He is married to Lori and they have four children ages 17 to 8. They are full time partners in church planning and are currently on deputation traveling all over the US. I am involved with Poulsbo Bible Baptist Church and tell stories

Snohomish District Director: Geri Modrell
|
|
|
|
As a Business Education/English teacher for 18 years, I was introduced to “politics” when I refused to join the union because they supported abortion—a stand that still appears antithetical to the role of a teacher! I then served as a Program Supervisor at the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction for 7 years, leaving only because I could see no opportunity for improvement in the political picture. I became a Republican only because it is the best opportunity to return to the tenets of our Constitution.
In January 2010, I contacted the Republican Party state office, was referred to the appropriate contact in Snohomish County, and started my political activist life as an office volunteer. I became active in the 44th District, serving as secretary then District Chair, followed by secretary, State Committeewoman, and Chair for Snohomish County. I am currently pleased to be serving as secretary and Office Manager for County Chair Bill Cooper. The current Executive Board is highly energized to revive conservatism in our county. I was honored when Billye Brooks-Sebastiani asked me to
run for the position of Snohomish District Director for WFRW.
My husband Bob and I will celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary this year. We raised three children prior to my entry into education and now have five grandchildren and one great grandchild. We are active members of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Everett. I have coached basketball and volleyball and currently volunteer for Catholic Community Services and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.

In 2003 Anita married Max Golladay, a Kittitas County Commissioner. Anita and Max were both very involved in the Kittitas County Republican Party and
campaigns. In 2004, they moved to Terrace Heights where they are now active again in the Yakima Republican Party. In 2007-2008, Anita was Vice Chair of the Yakima Republican Party and 2nd VP of the Yakima Woman’s Republican Club and Assistant District Director for the South Central District. In 2009, Anita
served as the President of YRWC and she is now the WFRW District Director for South Central District.
In addition, Anita is very active in CASA a child advocacy program for the courts and she is very involved in her Church and Bible Studies. In 2005, Anita and Max went to Israel, a church organized trip and in 2006 they went to China on a mission trip to help build a church.
Max along with two fellow republicans formed SOAR (Save Our American Rights), a non-profit organization focused on taking in facts and printing the truth on critical issues/subjects that need to be addressed or that people find interesting. In 2009, Max was elected Chairman of the Yakima County Republican Party.
