Club Description: South Puget Sound Republican Women (SPSRW) is a group of Republican women who not only meet with politicians and local people, we also do a lot of community outreach. Some of our outreach projects have been (1) Betty Jo Neils Scholarship ($1,000) to a college student who demonstrates Republican, conservative values, good grades, and volunteers in the community; (2) Joint Base Lewis-McChord Santa's Castle for military families who need a helping hand at Christmas; (3) Constitutions to JBLM and 5th grade community schools with a briefing on the Constitution; (4) deliver grab & go snacks, water, power drinks to local area police stations monthly in support of Back the Blue; (5) support Caring for Kids and the VA.
Caring for America, Armed Forces projects, Back the Blue, Annual Scholarship, Legislative, County, State and candidate updates. SPSRW’s Purpose is to increase effectiveness of women in government through political participation, support objectives and policies of the Republican Party, and give back to our community.
Our Vision
To empower our members to be active in and educated on the needs of our candidates. Unite women to be a presence in Olympia to impact legislation.
To strategize with other Puget Sound Republican organizations that support the policies of the County Party in recruiting, supporting and electing candidates.
To be bold in promoting our work with public schools and educators to teach the Constitution to their 5th graders.
To support conservative young women through our Annual College Scholarship Program towards their educational careers.
To engage with our minority communities.
To offer social and networking opportunities for our members who are active in the community, support our military and police, and provide programs that are informative on issues locally, statewide, and nationally.
