Meeting Location: We meet in person on the 3rd Thursday of every month, 11:30 am for lunch, followed by a meeting and speaker, ending about 1 pm. Location is Yakima Woman's Century Club, 304 N. 2nd Street, Yakima, WA.
Legislative Districts: 14, 15
The cost for lunch and room rental is $25.00. RSVP to 509-945-4575 the Sunday before the luncheon and make a reservation with how many people will be attending for food count purposes.
Developing plans to encourage and support civic education in our communities. Will work with our county's representative from the Secretary of State's office to support community civic education, and look at how we can promote the 1776 Commission's goals for education in our local schools.
