Meeting Day: 3rd Thursday of every month.
Meeting Location: We meet in person on the 3rd Thursday of every month, 11:30 am for lunch, followed by a meeting and speaker, ending about 1 pm. Location is Holiday Inn-Yakima, 802 East Yakima Avenue, Yakima, WA.
Legislative Districts: 13, 14, 15
The cost for lunch is $25.00. RSVP to 509-966-7922 the Monday before the luncheon and make a reservation with how many people will be attending for food count purposes.
Developing law enforcement support program - members in each community of our county will provide goodies and items to encourage our law enforcement officers in their communities; YRWC will spend $100 each month on a law enforcement entity, making sure that all our communities are covered at least once/year.
Developing plans to encourage and support civic education in our communities. Will work with our county's representative from the Secretary of State's office to support community civic education, and look at how we can promote the 1776 Commission's goals for education in our local schools.
